The Story of Jane Taylor
Stemming from her grandmother’s love for beautiful jewels and her father’s collection of antiques, Jane Taylor developed a longtime fascination with jewelry design. Dating as far back as grade school, Jane has memories of creating and designing her own jewelry pieces.
She attended art school for a short amount of time before deciding to take matters into her own hands at only age 19. She spent the next ten years in New York’s iconic Diamond District, where she was able to learn all of the intricacies that go into the jewelry making industry. By the end of her time in a myriad of different positions, she felt confident enough to begin establishing her own company.
In 1994, she made it happen. She started her jewelry company right out of her Manhattan apartment as a single mother. She found great thrill in becoming an entrepreneurial woman all on her own. Her masterpieces showcase bold, geometrical designs that are perfect for everyday wear, however each design portrays a rebellious twist that mimics Jane’s unique personality.
In 2010, Jane’s only daughter, Chloe, joined her mother in the jewelry-making business. Together, this dynamic duo continues to utilize their complementing strengths and weaknesses to create precious heirlooms that tell detailed stories through a strong artistic sense. Since each iconic bracelet, necklace, ring, or pair of earrings is specifically unique and cannot be precisely replicated. That’s why one of Jane’s favorite sayings is, “if they love it, they should buy it!”
