History of Longines
Founded in 1832 by August Agassiz and his two partners, Longines was once referred to as the Saint-Imier Watchmaking Establishment. The company excelled in the designing and manufacturing of pocket watches with crown-wheel escapements. As a part of the Swatch Group Ltd, this company has successfully produced classic luxury timepieces that always withstand the test of time.
Gaining much of their inspiration from aviation, we admire a winged hourglass logo that is acknowledged around the world. The seemingly flawless production of precise sports watches and chronographs has helped to maintain the prestigious reputation of the Longines name. These watches have been put to the ultimate test, including some of the most trying weather conditions, and have always proven their supreme resilience.
Keeping innovation at the forefront of its name, the Longines brand has achieved a long list of milestones and has been acknowledged by some of the most prestigious equestrian competitions all around the world. King Jewelers welcomes you to explore some of the most highly-coveted models, such as the Longines Hydroconquest, Legend Diver, and pieces from the Longines Master Collection.
