Gorilla Watches was founded in 2016 by Octavio Garcia who developed a love for the American Muscle Cars he fixed with his Dad. After moving to Switzerland at age 21, Octavio attended the most prestigious design school and was hired as a designer for Omega. Six years later, he pursued an opportunity at Audemars Piguet as Head of Design. His time was accredited to some of the most loved designs from the early 2000’s – 2015 such as Royal Oak Offshores, Millenary 4101, etc. Octavio worked extensively with Richard Mille before Mille was famous – both had the same forward thinking ideas of integrating bold styling and exotic materials.
