Hublot’s Brand Ambassador Usain Bolt Takes the Gold

Hublot takes the gold medal this year in the 100m finals with its brand ambassador, Usain Bolt at this year’s Summer Olympics. There has been much rave about the new ultra-light Richard Mille timepiece worn by Yohan Blake and his expectations. But it was ultimately the defending champion and easily Hublot’s most prominent Ambassador, Usain Bolt that took the gold medal for Jamaica. Bolt ran a lightning fast 9.63 seconds with Blake following behind with the silver at 9.75 seconds.

Bolt has now become the second person to ever win consecutive medals in the event. He is also a World and Olympic record holder which makes him a tremendous asset to Hublot. Earlier this year in the honor of Usain Bolt as Ambassador, Hublot released the King Power “Usain Bolt” edition which was a limited to only 250 pieces. The Usain Bolt edition King Power was a 48mm micro-blasted black ceramic case and bezel with an automatic mechanical chrono movement. The strap was made from the same gold color synthetic leather as Usain Bolt’s shoes from the 2008 olympics; which could be a suggestion of a new Usain Bolt edition watch since Bolt did not wear the signature gold shoes this year in the London Olympics.
