The Ginza shopping district of Tokyo, Japan, has long been recognized as one of the most luxurious shopping districts in the world. Mikimoto has proudly held a location in that prestigious district since 1899. In honor of the Mikimoto boutique’s latest remodel, Mikimoto has created a series of Ginza Special Edition pearl sets.
The Ginza Special Edition sets are available in a variety of colors, sizes, and price points. The most popular, and the one our Nashville Salon will be receiving in time for the holidays, features an 18″ strand of 8.5×8.0mm Akoya cultured pearls with matching 8.0mm Akoya stud earrings. This strand features a beautiful 18K white gold clasp with just a touch of sparkle; it has a total diamond weight of 0.09ct.

Each Ginza Special Edition set will come in a Japanese box with a unique plaque and features a gilded silver foil card commemorating the fact that it is a special edition piece. In addition, clients who purchase one of these special edition sets will receive the Assouline book, The Pearl Necklace. With text by Vivienne Becker, an award-winning jewelry historian and journalist, this book is sure to bring some timeless style to your coffee-table.
